to the pedal crank (1) and support (49).
1. Push the grip axle (58) into the middle position at handlebar support (49)
and put one wave washer (54) and then both connecting tubes (38) onto
the axles' end (58). Put on the screws M8x20 (14), a spring washer for
M8 (8) and a washer 8//38 (36) and tighten it firmly.
2. Push the footrest holder (31R) at the connecting tube (38) and adjust the
holes in the tubes so that they are aligned. (Note: Right is specified as
viewed standing on the machine during training.)
3. Push the hex bolt M8x75 (29) through the holes and tighten the footrest
holder (31R) at connection tube (38) with washers 8//16 (25) and nut M8
(21) firmly. (This connection point has to move easily. So please don't
tighten the screw too much.)
4. Put one wave washer (52) and the right footrest holder (31R) with pedal
tube bracket (19) at the pedal crank (11) and tighten them with washer
8//25 (15), spring washer for M8 (8) and screw M8x20 (14) firmly.
5. Install the left footrest holder (31L) incl. all additionally required parts on
the left hand side of the machine as described in 2. – 4.
6. Now turn the construction by hand 3-4 times and tighten the screws (14)
of support (49) as mentioned in Step 2 firmly.
7. Put the handlebar tube cover (57) into right position.
Step 4:
Installation of the footrests (23) at footrest holder (31).
1. Push the right footrest (23R) onto the right footrest holder (31R). Adjust
the holes in the parts so that they are aligned.
2. Push the carriage bolts M6x50 (22) from above through the holes. Push
on a washer 6//14 (77) from the opposite side, screw on a handgrip nut
(53) and tighten firmly.
3. Install the left footrest (23L) on the left footrest holder (31L) as described
in 1. – 2. (Note: The position adjusted in this way should always be equal
at both sides. The right and left footrests (23) can be discerned by the
edges of the longitudinal sides of the footrests. The high edges of the
footrests (23) must point inwards (towards the main frame.) The positions
can change as desired at all times by removing the carriage bolts (22)
and sliding the footrests on the footrest brackets to get a comfortable
exercise position close to the hand grip.)
