9 Fault messages and monitoring functions
Description of the fault types:
"Timed resets":
• "Timed reset" faults are reset automatically up to 5
times. If the fault is no longer active and the following
parametrised time delay has elapsed, the com-
pressor can restart. The "Timed Reset" interval can
be configured from VARIPACK firmware V1.14. The
factory setting is – like in the previous version –
300 s. Shorter intervals should only be set in sys-
tems equipped with a system controller with alarm
management function. After 5 errors within 5 con-
figured and successively elapsed intervals or after
5 errors within 5 minutes, an "External resets" error
is triggered.
• After an error-free operation of at least 5 minutes or
after 5 configured intervals performed successively
without any faults, the number of possible "Timed re-
sets" is reset to 5. This is also done if a fault is reset
actively, for example via the DI5 digital input (Reset).
"External resets":
• Faults of the "External reset" type are reset if the
fault is no longer active and a reset command is re-
ceived. The reset command can be sent by pressing
the red key on the control panel or via the digital in-
put (DI5) or via Modbus.
