1. Functions of the HPG 3000

• For uploading actual switch point settings from the electronic pressure switch EDS 4000*
• For altering the switch point settings of the EDS 4000* in the HPG 3000
• For transferring the altered data back into the EDS 4000*
* EDS 4000 with programming input

3. Connecting the EDS 4000 to the HPG 3000

Use the connection cable ZBE 30-02 which is supplied with the unit to connect the HPG 3000 to
the EDS 4000.
When the "mode" key is pressed, the data from the EDS 4000 is transferred to the programming
unit.
This is confirmed by the message "rd" (receive data) in the display.
Note:
If no EDS 4000 with programming input is connected, the error message "Er.21" will appear in
the display when you try to transfer data. This message must to be acknowledged by pressing
the mode key.
Er.21 = missing connection or communication fault (e.g. EDS 4000 not connected)

After switching on the supply voltage the message
"HPG" appears in the display for about 2 seconds,
followed by "LoAd".
