6.1 Power supply of multiple units

The mains feed-through output allows to supply
additional RGBL-430DMX (or other units) with
power: Connect the grey PowerCon
PUT of the first unit to the blue PowerCon
INPUT of the second unit: Use a mains cable with
PowerCon
®
plugs (NAC-3FCB and NAC-3FCA).
The second unit can be connected to the third unit
etc. until all units have been connected in a chain.
WARNING When multiple units have been inter-
connected for power supply, the total
current consumption of all units must
not exceed 16 A; otherwise, overload
may cause short circuit and fire.
Therefore, a maximum of 28 units of
the type RGBL-430DMX may be
interconnected. With a current load
of 16 A, also make sure that all mains
cables used are designed for this
load.
7 Operation
WARNING To prevent damage to your eyes,
never look directly into the light
source for any length of time.
Please note that fast changes in light-
ing may trigger epileptic seizures
with photosensitive persons or per-
sons with epilepsy!
To switch the unit on and off, use the switch
POWER (3). The unit is operated via a menu by
means of four buttons and a display (5): please
refer to chapter 7.1. Figure 2 shows the menu
structure.
Operation with a DMX controller
Use the menu item

signal). The light effect unit will be set to operation
