Troubleshooting
If faults should occur on this appliance, check them using the following table:
Fault
The indicator light
does not light up
when switched
on.
If you cannot resolve the fault,
− turn off the appliance and disconnect from the mains power,‐
− do not open the housing,
− contact customer service.

Replacing the tubular heating element or infrared heat lamp

Possible cause
Main switch on front of the app
liance is not turned on.
There is no power supply at all.
The circuit breaker has tripped.
Infrared heat lamp

Remedy
Turn on the main switch.
Notify
energy supply company.
Have possible appliance faults checked
by an authorised customer service.
Reset the circuit breaker.
The tubular heating element or infrared
heat lamp may only be replaced by a trained
electrician!
. Before replacement, switch off the heated
bridge, disconnect the mains plug / turn off
the main switch on site and secure it against
being switched back on accidentally!
. Let the heated bridge cool down.
Replacing the infrared heat lamp
D Do not touch the infrared heat lamp with
bare hands! Fingerprints can become bur
ned into the lamp. Clean any soiling from the
infrared heat lamp thoroughly with a soft, dry
cloth.
D After inserting the infrared heat lamp, turn it
into a vertical position (see figure)!
