5. Important safety information

• This device is not intended to be used by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental abilities or lack of experience and/or lack of knowledge unless they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or have received instructions on how to use the device.
• Children should always be supervised by an adult to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Be careful when handling the product, otherwise there is a fire hazard!
• Do not use the product near flammable materials.
• Heat can also be redirected onto and ignite flammable materials that are covered.
• Do not point the air outlet for too long at the same spot.
• Do not use the product in an explosive environment.
• After use, place the product so that the air outlet points straight up. Let the product cool down under
supervision before you store it.

6. General safety instructions

Read the operating instructions and safety information carefully. If you do not follow the safety
instructions and information on proper handling in this manual, we will assume no liability for any
resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
• Warning – burn hazard! The air outlet and nozzles become very hot in operation. Let all tools cool down
first before you return them to the carrying case.
• Always wear gloves while you work with the product.
• Do not inhale any fumes produced while using the product. Hot air can cause chemical reactions in
certain materials. Therefore, always ensure there is sufficient ventilation when working in living spaces,
garages, etc.
• Do not use the product to dry your hair.
• Never point the air stream at animals or persons.
• Make sure that the air outlet is not covered or clogged.
• Burn hazard! Do not touch the hot-air nozzle.
• Do not leave the product unattended when in use.
• Be cautious around gases and fumes which may be produced when processing plastics, paints, etc.
• Wear protective eye wear.
• Do not use the product in combination with chemical solvents.
• Do not carry the device by the cable.
• Keep the cable away from the hot air flow.
• If you use an extension cable, make sure that it is heat resistant.
• Do not use the product above or in close proximity to water.
