Appliance on marker
The appliance is fitted with the controls for use of its
main functions.
A)Control knob: turns the appliance's electricity
supply on and off.
B)Mains light; comes on to indicate that the electricity
supply is on.
C)Temperature light; comes on to warn that the oil
is not yet at the preset temperature; the light goes
out when the temperature is reached.
D)Control panel: controls the following functions.

)Temperature display:

– during programming, shows the set tempera-
ture value.
– During cooking, shows the oil temperature.
)Temperature button: starts the cooking cycle.

)Electrical power on light: lights up to indicate

that the control panel is in stand-by status.
SWITCHING THE APPLIANCE ON AND OFF
Switching on
Important
Before use, perform a cooking cycle with-
out food at a temperature between 150-
160°C.
1 - Turn off the appliance's circuit breaker to dis-
connect it from the electrical mains.
2 - Turn the knob (A) clockwise (pos. a) to turn on
the electricity supply.
N.B.: the mains light (B) comes on.

)Temperature setting button: during program-
ming, increases the temperature.
)Temperature setting button:
– during programming, decreases the tempera-
ture.
– disables the beeper when in use.
)Preheating button:
– activates and deactivates the function
which maintains the temperature at
100°C (melting function).
)Temperature maintenance light: lights up
to indicate that the temperature mainte-
nance function has been activated and the appli-
ance is waiting to start the cooking cycle.
