• Keep all persons and pets away from the hedge trimmer
operating area.
• To prevent accidental contacts with the operating cutter
blade or thrown objects from the operating cutter blade,
keep people and pets at least 4.5 m (15 ft.) away from the
hedge trimmer when it is in use.
• Wear eye protection, helmet and other protective devices
to protect your eyes and body from all objects (gravel,
glass, wire, etc.) thrown by the operating cutter blade.
