5.Pull the starter grip lightly until you feel resistance while holding the
handle, then pull briskly in the direction of the allow as shown below.
Return the starter grip gently.
Be sure that the people and pets are away from the hedge trimmer
especially behind you, before pulling the starter grip.

CAUTION:
• Pull the starter grip strongly. When the engine speed increases at the
starting, the ignition spark reaches the engine. If the engine speed is
slow, the engine may not start.
• Do not release the starter grip at the point where you pull it up fully,
in order to prevent the grip from hitting the neighboring parts.
• Do not pull the recoil to prevent the engine from breaking down while
the engine is operating.
• Do not operate the throttle lever when you pull the recoil. The cutter
blade operates suddenly. It is dangerous.

Put your lap and knee on the rear handle and hold.
Step on the base of the rear handle with
your left foot and hold.
Hold the front loop handle
tightly with your left hand.
Hold the rear handle tightly with your left
hand.
