Pull the starter rope out slowly so that the oil distrib-
utes itself in the engine and screw the spark plug
back in.

Remove all dirt, deposits and dust from the engine
and the cylinder head ridges.

Clean the air filter or replace it if it is very dirty.

Store the generator securely in a dry place that is
inaccessible to children.

When re-commissioning after a long period of stor-
age

Change the engine oil.

Fill with fresh petrol before starting the motor after
the storage period.
If the engine is not used for more than one month, chang-
es to the petrol quality may result in difficulties starting
the engine or in other issues. To prevent this, loosen the
carburettor's drain screw and allow the petrol to run out.
Also open the fuel valve so that the petrol drains from
the tank.
