5. Troubleshooting
Problem
Buoy does not fit into the
pocket
Velcro does not close
CO2 cartridge is pierced
immediately when screw-
ing in
CO2 cartridge cannot
be screwed in or only
screwed in with much
difficulty
Trigger is not accessible
or only with much diffi-
culty
Position the folded buoy in the pocket so that the nut on the
trigger mechanism is facing the label with the nut symbol.
>>> The trigger cord must hang out of the pocket.
Place the packing flap (6) in front of the buoy and align it
along the seam.
Connect the triangular velcro 5e on the trigger cord to velcro
5b on the flap.
Close the flap of the pocket.
Cause
Buoy is not fully emptied
Buoy is not folded correctly
Buoy is not positioned
correctly in the pocket
The release lever was not
closed before screwing in
the CO2 cartridge
Dirt on the thread or trigger
mechanism
Trigger was packed into the
pocket
Wrong position and align-
ment of the pocket on the
body
Corrective action
> Empty buoy completely
> Observe packaging in-
structions
> Nut on the trigger must face
the label with the nut symbol
> Close release lever and
secure with securing clip.
Then screw in new CO2
cartridge
> Clean the trigger mech-
anism
> Trigger must hang out
from the pocket
> Observe correct position-
ing and alignment of the
pocket on the body: trigger
must be easily accessible!
