Safety Tips

This tool is designed and manufactured only for house-
hold use.
This device is not made for people (including children)
with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or with
limited experience and/or knowledge unless supervised
by a person responsible for their safety or they have
received instructions on how to operate the device.
This device is not a toy. Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the device.
Keep this tool out of the reach of children. Do not give
to people who are unfamiliar with the operation of the
tool.
Always heed standard safety precautions when using
this tool. Not following these tips and instructions can
lead to electrical shock, burns and/or severe injuries.

PERSONAL SAFETY

This tool operated with felting needles with very sharp
tips and hooks. Use caution when inserting the needle
into the tool, exchanging the needle, or adjusting the
piercing depth of the needle.
Always use caution when operating the tool; always
keep an eye on the work and use common sense.
Keep fingers away from the needle and moving parts.
Be especially careful when the needle is in operation.
Always keep the workspace clean and well lit. Messy
and dark work spaces cause accidents!
Carry out felting with this tool on a smooth, level and
safe work space. Never felt with this tool on your lap,
legs or other body parts!
Clothing should be appropriate when using this tool.
Do not wear loose items of clothing or jewellery and
keep hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts.
Do not operate this tool if you are tired, have taken
medication or consumed alcohol. An inattentive
moment can lead to sever injury.
Never leave the tool unattended when plugged into an
electrical outlet. Always unplug the power cord imme-
diately after use!
Always turn off the device and unplug the power cord
prior to changing the needle.
Never operate with a bent or damaged needle.
Only replace needles in this tool with original replace-
ment felting needles from addi.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

Make sure that the power switch is in the off position
before plugging in to avoid accidentally switching on
the tool.
Unplug from the outlet before making any adjustments,
changing accessories or storing the device.
Do not let this tool come into contact with rain or moist
environments. Water can seep in and cause electric
shock.
Use only suitable electrical outlets for the power cord.
Never manipulate the plug. Do not use extension cords
with this tool!
Use the power cord only for intended purposes. Never
carry or pull on the tool from the power cord.
Keep power cord away from sharp edges and moving
parts. Damaged power cords increase the chance of
electrical shock and fire.
Do not use the device if the power cord or plug are
damaged, if the device does not function properly, has
been dropped, damaged or submerged in water.
DISPOSAL
This product may not be disposed of in household
waste. Old electrical appliances contain valuable,
recyclable materials and should be recycled for the
health of the environment and humans. For this
reason, old appliances should be disposed of through
appropriate systems or return the device for disposal
to the point of sale. They will then dispose of the
device properly.
