Miele recommends having the main filter and the active charcoal fil-
ter replaced by the Miele Customer Service Department.

An exhaust filter mat is fitted in front of the air outlet. The exhaust fil-
ter mat must be replaced following a visual inspection and/or when
damaged. Miele recommends having the exhaust filter mat replaced
by the Miele Customer Service Department.
Remove the plug from the socket and ensure that the air purifier is

de-energised.
If the appliance was in operation before it was unplugged, wait ap-

prox. 10 minutes to allow it to cool down fully.
 Risk of burns due to hot surfaces.
The air purifier will still be hot immediately after operation.
Allow the appliance to cool down fully.
Remove the 4 screws from the top of the appliance and remove the

lid.
Remove the exhaust filter mat under the lid and replace it with a

new one.
Place the lid back on the appliance and screw it into place.

An active charcoal filter is fitted above the main filter. The active
charcoal filter must be replaced roughly every 6–12 months. Miele
recommends having the active charcoal filter replaced by the Miele
Customer Service Department.
Remove the plug from the socket and ensure that the air purifier is

de-energised (display is off).
If the appliance was in operation before it was unplugged, wait ap-

prox. 10 minutes to allow it to cool down fully.
