9.2 Replacing the DAV cutter
The cutter has a service life of approx. 20,000 cuts. This is an approximate value that was determined during a test setup
with a 1.0 mm steel wire (type SG 2). Deviations are possible if other wire electrodes are used.
The cutter's service life depends on the filler materials used:

1 Carefully unscrew the retaining plate with lubricating nipple.
2 Unscrew and replace the cutter.
3 Screw the cover back on again.
4 Check the fixed jaws for wear; reverse or replace if necessary.
