2. Power wiring on your FIT 9.660 amplifier.
2.1. The +12V power cable is found on the cable harness recommended by Focal. DO NOT CONNECT THE
CABLE FOR THE MOMENT.
2.2. The negative cable (-) is found on the cable harness recommended by Focal.
3. Start-up and checks
The connection phase is now complete. Now you need to check the power supply is correct and that the
unit is working properly (car radio / amplifier / speakers). Set the gain of the power to minimum. Switch on
the different elements. Once all the elements are switched on, perform a test at low volume.
3.1. LED indicators
POWER LED - If this LED is on and constant, it means that the FIT 9.660 amplifier is switched on.
PROCESSING LED - If this LED is on and flashing, it means that the DSP unit + Amplification are working.

3.2. How to load a preset in the amp
1. You must place the file 'EQSet.bin' into the root folder of the USB key.
2. The amplifier should be turned off (there should be no LEDs on or flashing on the front of the unit).
3. Insert the USB key into the port on the amp.
4. Switch the amp on.
5. You will hear a message saying 'loading preset started'. If not, check on the USB key that the file is
correct and has the proper name (EQSet.bin).
6. You will hear a message saying 'Loading preset successful' to confirm the operation is complete.
7. Switch off the amp for at least 10 seconds then switch it on again. The amp is ready with the correct
loaded preset.
