USAGE
TRANSMITTER:
Locate the transmitter in the room you want to guard.
Slide the OFF-1-2 switch into position 1 to turn the transmitter on. The POWER-
LED will light
The transmitter is voice activated: as soon a sound is detected, the transmitter
is activated and will transmit the sound. The sensitivity of the sound detection
circuit can be adjusted with the controller on the right side of the transmitter. Turn
upwards to decrease the sensitivity, turn downwards to increase the sensitivity.
The required setting of this controller must be established by experiment.
RECEIVER:
Slide the OFF-1-2 switch into the position 1 to switch-ON the receiver. The
POWER-LED will light.
As soon as the transmitter is being activated by a sound, the receiver will switch
from STAND-BY to RECEIVE and the loudspeaker will produce the sound.
Control the receiver's volume with the VOLUME controller on the right side.
The illumination of the LED's also indicates the reception. The more LED's light,
the louder the sound. This feature can be used to guard the room while the
volume is set to minimum.
CHANNEL 1 / 2:
The channel switch is for changing the channel in case the concerned channel
is occupied by another transmitter / babyphone. The changing of the channels
need to be done on both the transmitter and the receiver.
REACH:
The maximum reach of the DBX-37 is approximately 100 to 150 meters (300 to
450 ft). Be informed that large buildings, metal constructions, atmospheric distur-
bances and other wireless devices can influence this maximum reach.
