RECIPE:
1. Pizza dough
Traditional style pizza dough
3/4 cup water, warm
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cups plain flour
1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
2 teaspoons yeast
Add lukewarm water and vegetable oil to pan. Add flour, sugar, Italian seasoning and salt to pan. Tap pan to
settle dry ingredients, then level pushing some of the mixture into corners. Make will in center of dry
ingredients; add yeast. Mix dough well and knead for 1 minute.
Roll dough out to fit pizza plate. Let rise in warm, draft free place for 20-25 minutes. Spread pizza sauce evenly
over crust, then top with favorite toppings and cheese.
2. Pizza sauce recipe
Simmer for one hour:
1 can tomato paste
2 tomato paste cans water
Garlic Celery
Salt Oregano
Basil
Sicilian style pizza sauce
2 cups Roma tomatoes, ground
10 large pitted black olives, quartered
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 to 3 anchovy fillets, minced
Salt
In a nonreactive bowl, combine ground tomatoes, olives, oil, garlic and anchovies. Season lightly with salt, and
mix well. Yields 2 1/4 cups sauce.
Seafood pizza
1 tbsp. olive oil
3/4 cup crab meat
3/4 cup salad shrimp
1/2 cup crushed pineapple – optional, drained
5 mushrooms – sliced
130g slice black olives – drained
1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
