5. Insert the other end of the fabric hose into the condensate
drain of the pump.
6. Insert the mounting plate with the pump into the housing
and tighten the 4 self-tapping screws.
7. Unwind the water discharge hose. Firmly plug one end into
the quick coupling on the front panel.
ð The hose automatically locks into place.
8. Completely unwind the hose and guide the other end to a
water drain. Avoid kinking or pinching the hose. The hose
end must not lay in the water!
ð The pump is installed and ready for operation.
Start-up
During operation, the pump runs fully automatically. It is
controlled by two float switches. Additionally, the pump is
equipped with an external switch for residual water draining at
the front of the panel.
If you switch off the device, it will take up to half an hour until
the evaporator and condenser have reached room temperature.
This means that the air is still dehumidified during this period. It
is possible that water collects in the pump's collection container
during this time. This water can only escape from the container
and from the condenser dryer if you tilt the device for transport.
After switching off the device, wait for 30 minutes. Then switch
the device back on and press the button for residual water
draining to empty the container of the pump. Once the pump
stops pumping water, switch off the device.

Care and maintenance

Regular care and the observation of a number of basic
principles will ensure a failure-free operation and long lifetime
of the pump. Due to the intended use of the condenser dryer,
contaminations of the pump cannot be avoided.
The air sucked in by the condenser dryer may contain
construction dust and other contaminants. This dust and dirt
may collect at the water outlet of the condensate collection tray
or in the container of the pump and clog it.
To guarantee a failure-free operation we advise you to clean the
pump normally after every use together with the condenser
dryer, and thoroughly at regular intervals, e.g. every three to
four months, in order to remove mud and other residues. These
intervals depend on the individual conditions of application of
the dryer and may thus be considerably shorter.
Normal cleaning
Use a high-pressure cleaner to clean the condenser dryer as
described in the dryer's operating manual. The water will run
from the evaporator into the condensate collection tray and from
there into the container of the pump. After you have finished
cleaning the device, plug the device into a mains socket and
empty the container of the pump via the button for residual
water draining. Repeat this process until clean water is pumped
out by the pump. If the pump does not pump any water, clean
the pump thoroughly.

Thorough cleaning

The pump kit must be removed for thorough cleaning. First
switch off the device as for normal cleaning and disconnect the
mains plug. Now remove the front panel with the pump and the
connecting plug (Bulgin plug). Remove the two screws securing
the pump at the front panel and loosen the four screws of the
pump's container. Now you can remove the container from the
pump and clean it thoroughly. Clean the condensate collection
tray thoroughly too and remove any residues. Use an anti-
bacterial detergent for thorough cleaning!
During assembly, pay attention to the floats: they must be able
to move freely.
