IMPORTANT: All supervisors and staff must read operation manual and be trained on the proper
requirements for safe use and servicing. Keep operation manual accessible for reference.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING –
to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:
1. Read all instructions before using this
equipment.
2. This appliance is not intended for use,
cleaning, or maintenance by persons
with reduced physical, sensory, or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they are closely
supervised and instructed concerning use
of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used near children. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they do
not use or play with the appliance.
4. Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet.
5. Do not remove ground prong.
6. Do not use an adapter.
7. Do not use an extension cord.
8. Do not operate any appliance with a
damaged supply cord or plug, or after the
appliance malfunctions or has been dropped
or damaged in any manner. Supply cord
requirement and repairs must be conducted
by the manufacturer, its service agent, or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid
a hazard. Call the provided technical service
number for information on examination,
repair or adjustments.
9. To protect against electric shock, do not
spray equipment with a high-pressure spray
gun or immerse the cord, plug, or equipment
in water.
10. Do not operate any equipment with
a damaged cord or plug, or after the
equipment malfunctions or is damaged in
any manner. Refer to Technical Services for
repair.
11. To reduce risk of personal injury and to
prevent damage to the equipment, DO
NOT insert utensils into equipment before
operating.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed

12. Do not use the equipment for other than
intended use.
13. The use of accessory attachments not
recommended by Hamilton Beach may cause
injuries.
14. Agitator is sharp. Handle carefully.
15. Do not use broken, loose, or cracked
agitator. Inspect agitator daily.
16. Do not use outdoors.
17. Equipment must be mounted to the
supporting surface according to instructions
to avoid a crush hazard.
18. Maximum inlet water pressure 550kPa
(80 psi) and minimum inlet pressure is
225kPa (40 psi). Water pressure should be
regulated to a set point within ±5 psi (±0.345
bar). This will promote proper and consistent
rinse performance. Lower than acceptable
water pressure may result in incomplete
rinse functions. Higher than acceptable water
pressure could cause premature failure of
system components.
19. Equipment cannot be used with a removable
water or drainage hose.
20. Do not attempt to bypass interlock features
21. The equipment is provided with a power
switch/circuit breaker. If the motor stops
turning, turn off and on.
22. This equipment's motor is provided with
a thermal overload protector. If this motor
stops turning during operation or will not
restart, turn off and allow to cool for 15
minutes. Turn back on and resume operation.
SANITIZING
1. Blizzard
Machine must be santitized before
®
daily use.
2. Sanitize concentration level should be
between 100 and 200 parts per million of
bleach to water.
