4. Remove the shield cover by removing the two (2)
thumbscrews and sliding the shield cover forward.
5. Remove the cup holder by raising the top shield slightly and
lifting up on the cup holder (two components to the cup
holder).
6. Remove the agitator by gripping the motor shaft with a dry
towel and rotating the agitator clockwise. A 9 mm wrench can
also be used to hold the motor shaft while rotating the agitator
free of the shaft.
7. Remove the top shield by removing the cotter pins and sliding
the top shield down from the guide rods and motor shaft.
