Sequential Trigger Mode Operation
The sequential trigger mode operates as follows:
The operator must slide the switch (located by the trigger) to the up or down
positions, which locks the safety preventing the tool from successively firing.
This makes accurate fastener placement easier, on such applications as
doorjambs, paneling, cabinetry and furniture. The operator then depressed the
contacting element and holds the tool firmly against the work surface before
pulling the trigger. After the fastener has been driven, the operator must
completely release the trigger and lift the tool from the work surface. The
sequential trigger mode allows exact fastener location without the possibility of
driving a second fastener on recoil. Sliding the switch to the middle position
releases the sequential safety and successive firing is enabled.
