IV. INSTRUCTIONS TO USE
a. Control panel
The following symbols appear on the control panel near each control handle:

) Black Circle: Off Gas
( ) Large flame: maximum setting (
) Small flame: Adjust minimum
• The minimum setting is at the end of the rotation in the opposite direction of the
clockwise control knob.
• All operating positions should be selected between the maximum position and the
minimum position.
• The symbol on the control panel near the control handle indicate that the burner is
on.
b. with automatic ignition safety device
The apparatus is equipped with a case of no flame ignition safety device on each burner,
which is designed to stop the distribution of gas to the burner head in case the flame does not
turn on.
To light a burner :
•
Press the burner control button you want to turn on and turn it counterclockwise to clockwise to the
maximum position.
Hold down the control button, the automatic ignition burner will operate.

You must hold the control button for 15 seconds after the flame on the burner is on. If after 15
•
seconds, the burner does not light, stop operating the device and wait at least 1 minute before
trying again to light the burner.
•
After this interval of 15 seconds to control the flame, you have to keep turning the knob
counterclockwise to clockwise until the flame is at an appropriate level. The knob position
must be between the maximum and minimum position.
In case of power failure, the burners can be lit using a match.

To turn off a burner :
To turn off the burner, turn completely the knob in the direction of clockwise to turn off
•
the gas.
