TROUBLESHOOTING
Anomaly
The stove makes a lot of
smoke and/or when I open
the door I see some smoke
returning.
The stove heats up little
and/or takes a while to heat
up.
The glass becomes very
dirty.
Cracks in the ceramic plates
The fan does not work.
In the event of a fire in the chimney, remove embers and logs from the equipment with
tongs or a metal shovel, close the air inlet regulator and call the fire department. The embers
must be placed in a fire-resistant container (metallic bucket, or in an emergency, a pan, with a lid)
and placed outside the dwelling.
If your equipment is ventilated and in the event of a power outage or failure, you must close the
air inlet regulator, and do not refill your equipment with firewood until power is restored.
Possible cause
1. Green firewood or wood with too
much moisture.
2. Lack of air for combustion.
3. Nearby

extractors
exhausters.
4. Chimney clogged by dirt.
5. Badly placed upper deflector.

3. Badly placed upper deflector.
4. Air baffle completely closed;
1. Impacts caused by the throwing of
firewood against the ceramic parts,
during the process of filling or
refuelling the stove;
1. The fan speed selector is in
automatic mode (recommended),
but the fire is not strong enough to
activate the thermostat.
2. The stove is not connected to the
electricity, or it does not receive
electric current (do not make bonfire
under these conditions!).
EN
1. Use dry seasoned wood (less than 20%
moisture).
2. Open the air intake for better oxygenation of the
fire. If does not work, you may need to create an
outside air intake (if the house is quite isolated).
or
3. Turn off the kitchen hood or open window to
create outside air inlet next to the extractor /
exhauster.
4. Book a chimney cleaning.
5. Adjust the deflector according to the instructions.
6. Execute the necessary work so that the chimney
meets the obligatory requirements and thus
have
the
allow a good smoke flow.
and
7. You should only open the door to add firewood
when there is no more firewood burning, just
embers.

2. Book a chimney cleaning.
3. Adjust the deflector according to the instructions.
4. Do not close the air baffle completely.
1. Avoid throwing the firewood into the stove but
place it carefully on the embers or on the base
of the stove.
1. If the anomaly is verified during the initial stage
of the fire, wait for the stove to reach the ideal
temperature by opening, if necessary, a little
more the air intake baffle (Chapter 3 – User
Instructions).
2. Ask a technician to connect the stove to the
electric current.
