6. Place the lid onto the filter housing & align the Lid:
• Ensure the lid is correctly aligned with the filter tank.
7. Refit retaining clamp band"
Turn the locking ring clockwise until you hear a distinct clicking sound. This
indicates that the lock plunger has engaged with the locking lugs on the tank.
Tightening retaining nuts using a 25mm (1") open-end spanner/adjustable wrench
ensuring the lid is correctly fitted.
Important Note:
Sufficient Tightening: It's crucial to tighten the locking ring enough to ensure a
secure fit and not tilted. Insufficient tightening can lead to leaks.
Visual Inspection: After tightening, visually inspect the lid to make sure it's securely
in place.
Note: Ensure the locking ring's locking plunger passes the filter tank's retaining
lugs and is properly installed and tightened to prevent water leaks.
If you're unsure about the process, or if you encounter any difficulties, it's
recommended to consult the user manual for your specific filter model or seek
assistance from a qualified technician.
8. Refer to the start up procedure to recommence operation.

Do not over tighten the lid retaining nuts.
It is suggested that you should periodically remove the filter cartridge element and
soak it over night in a suitable cartridge cleaning compound. This will remove any
debris not removed by hosing down of the filter cartridge element.
Some swimming pool stores offer a filter element cartridge cleaning service using
the correct solutions otherwise you may wish to use Waterco cartridge element
cleaning solution. Directions of use are on the product.
The cleaning time depends upon the swimming pool condition and use. Intervals
between cleaning the cartridge element should not exceed a period of 6 months in
any instance.
