Connecting the dust extraction mechanism
CAUTION! Risk of injury! The device may
not be operated if the vacuum unit is not fit-
ted.
WARNING! Risk of injury! Only use a suit-
able vacuum unit. Do not use a household
vacuum cleaner.

– Insert the suction hose (8) into the telescopic
extension and Tighten the lock (9) by hand.
– Insert the free end of the suction hose onto a suit-
able vacuum unit.
Attach the sanding disc
The fixture of the sanding disc takes place by means
of hook and loop adhesion.
– Carefully align the sanding disc and press it firmly
onto the sanding plate.
Note: Dust extraction only works with perfo-
rated sanding discs. Attach these such that
the holes in the sanding plate and the sand-
ing disc are flush with one another.
Operation
Check before starting!
DANGER! Risk of injury! The product
must only be put into operation if no defects
are found. Ensure that any defective parts
are replaced before the product is used
again.
Check the condition of the product:
– Check whether there are any visible defects.
– Check whether all parts of the product are firmly
attached.
Switching On and Off
– To switch the appliance on, set the On/Off
switch (2) to [I].
– To switch the appliance off, set the On/Off
switch (2) to [0].
Electronic speed control
– Set the required speed with the revolution regula-
tor (1).
NOTICE! Risk of product damage! The
motor can overheat if continuously run under
heavy load and at low speeds. If the motor
has been run at elevated speed, allow it to
cool by idling.
Setting the extraction effect

The extraction effect can be changed by turning the
regulator (10).
– Adapt the extraction effect to the requirements of
your work: Wide open = weak extraction effect
Closed = high extraction effect

Sanding
WARNING! Risk of injury! The device may
only be used for dry sanding work.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the device!
Check the surfaces for nails, screws and
metal objects. These may damage the tool.
Note: Excessive pressure does not result in
greater sanding performance, instead it
causes greater wear on the tool and sanding
belt and damages the material.
• Ensure that you are standing firmly.
• When working, make sure that you are standing
on a solid surface and keep your balance.
• When working at a height, ensure that you are
positioned on a safe scaffold and make sure you
are standing firmly.
• balanced in a comfortable way.
• Pay attention when walking backwards. Danger
of stumbling!
– Always work with consistent movements.
– Guide the sanding disc with a slight pressure over
the surfaces to be processed.
– Sand coarse parts several times, rather than
applying additional pressure to a particular point.
