Orthesen im Bereich der Hand unterstützen geschädigte Gewebestrukturen (Gelenk, Kap-
seln, Bänder, Knorpel).
Die semizirkuläre Fassung unterstützt dabei die Haltefunktion der Bänder und entlastet so
das Gelenk. Durch die kombinierte Fassung von Unterarm und Handgelenk kann die Orthese
nicht verrutschen und stabilisiert die betroffene Region. Die semizirkulär umgreifende
Orthesenschale ist so geformt, dass sie die Hand in einer entspannten Schonhaltung hält.
Zusätzlich bietet die Orthese einen erhöhten Schutz vor Fehlbewegungen.
Gebrauchsanleitung:
Wichtig: Während der Anwendung Temperaturen über 50 °C vermeiden (heißes Wasser,
Sauna, Fahrzeuge).
Die Orthese ist im Auslieferungszustand anatomisch vorgeformt. Um die Passform zu opti-
mieren, kann sie auf 90 °C erwärmt werden (Wärmeofen, handelsüblicher Backofen) und
an die Gegebenheiten des Patienten angeformt werden. Dieses sollte ausschließlich durch
den orthopädischen Fachhandel oder den Arzt erfolgen. Nach dem Erwärmen kann die nun
flexible Orthese nach kurzem Abkühlen, direkt auf der Haut angeformt werden. Der graue
Schaum wirkt isolierend. Nach dem Anlegen der erwärmten Orthese schließen Sie die
Verschlüsse und modellieren die Kunststoffschale an den Patientenarm an. Nach einigen
Minuten erkaltet die Orthese und behält die gewünschte Form. Punktuelle Druckstellen
können mit dem Heißluftfön erwärmt und nachgearbeitet werden. Bedingt durch das ther-
moplastische Material kann dieser Artikel im Therapieverlauf immer wieder nachgepasst
werden um eine optimale Passform zu erhalten.
Eine Anwendung der Orthese im Wasser ist problemlos möglich. Bei Kontakt mit Salzwasser
anschließend mit reichlich Süßwasser spülen. Die Trocknung der Orthese mit einem Haar-
fön auf geringster Wärmestufe ist möglich. Bei übermäßiger Schweißentwicklung Orthese
regelmäßig abnehmen, innen und außen reinigen sowie vor dem Anlegen trocknen.
Indikationen:
Präoperativ, postoperativ, posttraumatisch, degenerativ, z. B. Karpaltunnel -
syndrom (CTS), Tendovaginitis, periphere Nervenlähmung.
Kontraindikationen:
Lymphabflussstörungen auch unklare Weichteilschwellungen
körperfern des angelegten Hilfsmittels, Empfindungs- und Durchblutungsstörungen der
versorgten Körperregion, Erkrankungen der Haut im versorgten Körperabschnitt.

Braces in the hand area support damaged tissue structures (joints, capsules, ligaments,
cartilages).
The semi-circular encompassing brace thereby supports the holding function of the ligaments
and thus relieves the joint. The combined enclosure for the lower arm and wrist ensures
that the brace cannot slip and stabilises the affected region. The semi-circular encompassing
brace shell is shaped in such a manner that it holds the hand in a relaxed relieving posture.
Furthermore, the brace also offers increased protection against incorrect movements.
Instructions for use:
Important: Avoid temperatures in excess of 50 °C (hot water, sauna, vehicles) when
using the brace.
The brace is anatomically pre-formed upon delivery. In order to optimise the fit,
it can be heated to 90 °C (warming oven, customary baking oven) and shaped to
match the patient's characteristics. This should only be carried out by the specialist
orthopaedic partner or by the physician. Once heated, the now flexible brace can be shaped
directly on the skin after briefly being allowed to cool. The grey foam has an insulating
effect. Close the fasteners and model the plastic shell to the patient's arm after fitting
the heated brace. The brace will cool down after several minutes and will retain the
desired shape. Specific pressure points can be heated using a hairdryer and re-adjusted.
The thermoplastic material allows this item to be re-adjusted over and over again during
the treatment to retain an ideal fit.
The brace can be used in water without any problems whatsoever. Rinse with plenty of
freshwater should the brace come into contact with saltwater. You can dry the back brace
using a hair dryer on the lowest heat level. If you sweat excessively, take off the back brace
at regular intervals, clean inside and outside and dry before putting it back on.

Contraindications:
Lymphatic drainage disorders and indistinct soft tissue swellings

ligaments, cartilage).
Le support semi-circulaire renforce la fonction de maintien des ligaments et soulage ainsi
l'articulation. L'orthèse enveloppe à la fois l'avant-bras et le poignet, ce qui l'empêche de
glisser et lui permet de stabiliser la région atteinte. S'emboîtant de façon semi-circulaire, la
coque de l'orthèse est formée de manière à maintenir la main dans une position antalgique
décontractée. De plus, l'orthèse offre une protection élevée contre les faux mouvements.
Mode d'emploi :
Important : Lors de l'utilisation, éviter les températures supérieures à 50 °C (eau
chaude, sauna, véhicules).
À la livraison, l'orthèse est préformée de manière anatomique. Pour en optimiser l'ajuste-
ment, il est possible de la chauffer à 90 °C (four à réchauffer, four courant) et de l'adapter à
la morphologie du patient. Cet ajustement ne devrait être réalisé qu'en magasin spécialisé
en orthopédie ou par le médecin. Après le réchauffage, l'orthèse désormais souple peut,
après un bref refroidissement, être modelée directement sur la peau. La mousse grise a
un effet isolant. Une fois l'orthèse chauffée et posée, fermez les bandes de fermeture et
modelez la coque en plastique sur le bras du patient. Au bout de quelques minutes, l'orthèse
refroidit et conserve la forme souhaitée. Les endroits exerçant une pression peuvent être
localement réchauffés à l'aide d'un pistolet à air chaud, puis retravaillés. En raison de sa
matière thermoplastique, cet article peut être réadapté à plusieurs reprises au cours du
traitement pour en optimiser l'ajustement.
L'utilisation de l'orthèse dans l'eau ne pose aucun problème. En cas contact avec de l'eau
salée, rincer abondamment à l'eau douce. Vous pouvez sécher l'orthèse à l'aide d'un sèche-
cheveux réglé sur la température minimale. Si vous transpirez beaucoup, retirez l'orthèse
régulièrement, nettoyez-la à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur et séchez-la avant de la porter.

Préopératoire, post-opératoire, post-traumatique, dégénératif, p. ex.
syndrome du canal carpien (CTS), tendovaginite, Paralysie des nerfs périphériques.
Contre-indications :
Problèmes d'écoulement lymphatique, également des tuméfac-
tions des parties molles à des endroits éloignés du bandage mis en place, perturbation
de la sensibilité et de la circulation sanguine au niveau de la région corporelle traitée,
maladies de la peau dans la section du corps soignée.

Note importante :
Si le médecin a prescrit de porter le bandage pendant la nuit, évitez de géner la circulation
du sang. En cas de sensation d'engourdissement, relâchez la bandage ou enlevez-le, si
nécessaire. Consultez votre médecin en cas de troubles persistants.

El diseño semicircular asiste en la función de soporte de los ligamentos y alivia así la arti-
culación. El armazón combinado para antebrazo y muñeca impide que la ortesis se pueda
deslizar y estabiliza la zona afectada. La cubierta semicircular envolvente está formada de
modo que mantiene la mano en una posición protectora de reposo. Además, esta ortesis
ofrece una gran protección contra movimientos inadecuados.
Instrucciones de uso:
Importante: Durante el uso evitar temperaturas superiores a 50 °C (agua caliente, sauna,
vehículos).
La ortesis se entrega anatómicamente preformada. Para optimizar la forma puede calen-
tarse a 90 °C (horno habitual en el comercio) y amoldarse a las condiciones anatómicas
del paciente. Esta operación deberá ser realizada exclusivamente en la tienda ortopédica
o por el médico. Después de calentarla, la ortesis se vuelve flexible y, tras un breve enfria-
miento, se puede moldear directamente sobre la piel. La espuma gris actúa como aislante.
Después de aplicar la ortesis caliente, ciérrela y amolde la cubierta de plástico al brazo
del paciente. Después de unos minutos la ortesis se enfría y conserva la forma deseada.
Las zonas puntuales de presión pueden calentarse con el secador de aire caliente y volver
a moldearse. El material termoplástico permite reajustar la ortesis en cualquier momento
del proceso terapéutico para conseguir una forma óptima.
La ortesis puede utilizarse sin problema en el agua. En caso de contacto con agua salada,
aclararla seguidamente con abundante agua dulce. Es posible secar la órtesis con un secador
de pelo en el nivel más bajo de calor. En caso de sudoración excesiva, retirar la órtesis
regularmente, limpiar el interior y el exterior y secarla antes de su colocación.

un paciente. Si el médico ordenó llevarlo durante la noche, evitar la reducción de la circu-

fuera necesario. En caso de trastornos persistentes consulte al médico.
