2.2 Browsing
Initio
Select-OK (3):
The central knob (3) is used to browse through the Initio 2 menus. Do a brief press on the
OK button on the middle of the knob to validate.
Return (2):
The "Return" button (2) changes from one type of display to the other from the main screen
in the following order:
Within a particular menu, it acts as a Back button.
Menu (4):
This button displays the Initio 2 main menu.
2.3 Data acquisition
The Initio
Acquisition is made point by point. The user saves each measurement manually (see below)
Acquisition is made as a function of time, for a duration input by the user.
2.3.1 Manual acquisition
2.3.2 Time acquisition
Acquisitions as a function of time last between 60 seconds and 50 hours. The interval
between two measurements is adjusted automatically.

2 has an internal memory to save measurements. There are two available modes:

Manual acquisition

Time acquisition

Press the Menu « button » (4).

Use the knob (3), to choose Acquisition and validate by pressing briefly on the
knob (3).

Select Manual.

To save a measurement, choose the Save icon (white circle) and press knob (3)
briefly to validate.

To stop acquisition, choose the Stop icon (black square) and press knob (3) to
validate. Validate the choice in the dialogue box.

Press the Menu « button » (4).

Use the knob (3), to choose Acquisition and validate by pressing briefly on the
knob (3).

Select Time.

Use the knob (3) to select the number defining the duration and press the knob (3).

Modify this duration by turning the knob (3) and then validate by pressing the centre
of the knob.

For a loop acquisition (restart the acquisition at zero after the defined time) select In
loop.

Validate the final choice by selecting OK.
