WARNING: Repairs of smaller leaks on the kayak may only be carried out with the enclosed repair kit. Leaks larger than 5mm may only
be repaired by a specialized workshop! Before the next use of the kayak in the water, check if the leak is really completely sealed. If
bubbling still occurs, take the kayak to a specialist workshop for repair or contact the service address provided. Unprofessional or
insufficiently executed repairs can lead to danger to life at sea (drowning).
5. Care and storage instructions
Transportation and storage of your kayak are very simple. Please follow these instructions if you plan to travel with your kayak:
- Before each storage, rinse the kayak with water and allow it to dry completely to prevent mold growth during storage.
- Do not use harsh chemicals to clean. Most dirt can be removed with a mild soap and fresh water.
- You can store the kayak inflated or not inflated. If you let the air out of the kayak, we recommend that you store it in a protective bag.
- If you store the kayak outdoors, lift it off the ground and cover it with a tarp to keep it out of the sun.
- Hanging the kayak is not recommended.
- Do not store the kayak in extreme outdoor temperatures (above 66°C/150°F or below -23°C/-10°F). Store it in a clean and dry place.
- Do not roll the kayak too tightly when storing it deflated.
- If the fin is bent, heat the fin slightly with a hair dryer to bend it back into shape. Avoid overheating when doing this.
