Attaching/Detaching Battery Pack
(Fig . 4)
To attach the battery pack :
WARNING
condition . Therefore, remove the battery
when the machine is not in use or when
carrying it at your side .
1. Align the ribs of the battery pack with the
mounting slots in the blower's battery port.
2. Slide the battery pack into the battery port
until it snaps into position.
Make sure that the latch on the
NOTICE
battery pack snaps into place and
that the battery pack is secured to the machine before beginning operation.
To detach the battery pack
Depress the battery-release button, located on the front of the battery pack, to release the
battery pack. Pull the battery pack out and remove it from the machine.
1. Hold the battery pack in the palm of your hand.
2. Press the battery-release button with your thumb; the battery pack will disengage from the
latch.
3. Grasp the battery pack and remove it from the machine.
