Before using the sandwich grill for the first time, please proceed as follows: carefully unpack the appliance and remove all
packaging material and any promotional stickers. Keep the packaging (plastic bags and cardboard) out of reach of children.
After unpacking the appliance, carefully check it for external damage that may have occurred during transport. Fully read the
instruction manual and store it for future reference.
Place the sandwich grill on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. Clean the exterior of the sandwich grill using a slightly damp
cloth and then wipe it with a dry cloth. Clean the plates with a soft sponge and hot water containing a mild washing-up liquid.
For the best result, lightly cover the grill plates with some cooking oil.
Place the sandwich grill on a stable heat-resistant surface. Fully unwind the cord and insert the plug in the wall socket.
When used for the first time, a little smoke could come off the sandwich grill. This is normal and is caused by burning greases
and oils that were used during the manufacture of the appliance.
The sandwich grill can be used for preparing toasted sandwiches and paninis.
Place the sandwich grill on a stable heat-resistant surface. Fully unwind the cord and insert the plug in the wall socket.
Both indicator leds light up.
Allow the appliance to heat up while preparing the food. Heating up the sandwich grill takes approximately four minutes.
The sandwich grill is provided with a thermostat that controls the temperature of the appliance. Once the sandwich grill has
reached the required temperature, the green indicator led switches off. The sandwich grill is now ready for use.
Caution: do not touch the metal parts and grill plates, as they get extremely hot.
Open the sandwich grill and place the food to be prepared on the bottom plate. Close the sandwich grill and close the locking
mechanism.
Remove the food with a wooden or plastic spatula, in order to protect the non-stick coating. Do not use metal or sharp objects.
Warning: fillings of toasted sandwiches get very hot. So do be careful, particularly in the case of children.
After use, always remove the plug from the socket.
