GB
• Do not lift the device using the cable or use the
cable for purposes other than intended.
• Check the plug and cable before each use.
• If the power cable is damaged immediately dis-
connect the plug. Never use the device if the
power cable is damaged.
• If the device is not in use make sure the plug is
pulled out.
• Make sure that the device is switched off before
plugging in the mains cable.
• Make sure that the device is switched off before
unplugging it.
• Disconnect the power supply before transporting
the device.
• If the power connection cable of this device is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac-
turer or the manufacturer's customer service
department or a similarly qualified person in order
to prevent risks.
Maintenance
• Before conducting any maintenance on the
device, disconnect the mains plug.
• Only those maintenance and fault elimination
tasks described here may be carried out. Any
other tasks must be completed by a specialist.
• Only use original replacement parts. Only these
replacement parts are designed and suitable for
the device. Other replacement parts will not only
lead to an invalidation of the warranty, they may
also endanger you and your environment.
Device-specific safety instructions
• Only pump clean water! Never pump sand or
other abrasive media.
• The minimum flow per hour must be 80 l/h (1.3 l/
min).
• These devices are not designed to be used to
implement drip irrigation since the water flow is
too low and the cooling of the device by the con-
veyed medium would no longer be ensured.
• Observe the maximum suction lift. The greater the
suction lift the lower the conveyancing perfor-
mance of the pump.
• Do not subject the device to rain. Do not use the
device in wet surroundings.
• Do not use the device in areas where there is dan-
ger of explosion or in the vicinity of combustible
liquids or gases!
• Do not aim the water jet directly toward the device
or other electrical components! Mortal danger due
to electric shock!
• Lay the extension cord in such a way that it can-
not get into the liquid being conveyed.
• Do not install or turn on the device if there are
people or animals in the conveying medium (e. g.
swimming pool) or making contact with the con-
veying medium.
• Do not leave the device unsupervised. Unplug the
mains plug during periods of extended absence.
• As a general rule, repairs are only to be carried
out by an electrician. If repairs are performed
improperly, there is danger of liquid getting into
the electronic components of the device.
• Remember that moving parts may also be located
behind ventilation and venting slots.

• Symbols affixed to your tools may not be removed
or covered. Information on the device that is no
longer legible must be replaced immediately.

Scope of delivery
• Operating manual
• Irrigation unit
• Funnel to fill the pump
Set up and initial use
Installing the unit
– Fix the unit (1) using the coupling nut (7) and
tighten by hand. Ensure that the seal is positioned
correctly!
– Turn the unit to the required position and tighten
the coupling nut (7).
Setting up
• The unit must stand on a horizontal, even surface
which is capable of holding the overall weight of
the unit plus water content.
• In order to prevent vibrations, the unit should be
set up on an elastic underlay (e. g. rubber mat).
• The place of installation must be well ventilated
and protected from the influences of the weather.
• When operating on garden ponds and swimming
pools the unit should be set up in order to avoid
overflow and protected from falling in. Additional
legal requirements must also be taken into con-
sideration.
• When operating indoors you must ensure that
there is a drain in the floor or a leak prevention
mechanism.
• Before starting up, check the suction hose to
ensure that it is sealed. Bubbles of air in the suc-
tion hose are an indication that there may be
leaks and may lead to failure of the device!
Connecting the intake line
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the device!
The intake line must be mounted in a such
way that it does not expert mechanical force
or tension on the pump.
In the event that the medium to be conveyed
is dirty, an intake filter must be used to pro-
tect the pump from sand and dirt.
