16. Troubleshooting
possible cause
Air flap blocked
Capacitor defective
Engine mount defective, jammed Replace motor
Engine smells suspiciously
In addition to the above causes, the following are possible:
Lamps defective
No power, device cable not
connected correctly
One-way valve leaking
Top passage of the base shaft
and telescopic shaft leaking
Motor not firmly mounted
Bonnet not properly fixed
Distance between bonnet and hob
too great
Too much draught through open
windows or doors
Mounting bracket not firmly
mounted
Fixing screws not tightened

Solutio
n
Remove blockage
Replace capacitor
Replace motor
Replace lamps
Check fuse, connect cable
correctly
Seal one-way valve
Seal the top passage with
a suitable agent.
Mount the engine correctly
Fix the bonnet well
Hang bonnet lower
Close doors and windows
Tighten the screws of
the mounting bracket
Tighten the fastening
screws
