Laying cables
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! The
electrical installation may only be carried
out by a professional electrician taking
account of the current legal requirements
(VDE 100) as well as national and
regional requirements.
The enclosed installation instructions for
the supplied electrical units must be
observed.
Connect the motor

Connect the wind sensor.
► P. 8, fig. 15
– Connect the devices as shown.
Changing the remote control batteries
– Open the battery compartment on the rear of the
remote control.
– Remove the old batteries.
– Insert the new batteries and close the battery
compartment.
Program the remote control
If the motor cannot be controlled with the remote con-
trol even though the batteries are fully charged, tune
it into the motor. To do this, disconnect the motor from
the power for at least 10 seconds, plug it in and
quickly press the following buttons:
– Press buttons (13) and (14) twice, simultaneously
– Press button (13) once
Operation
Note: The battery is not included in the
scope of delivery. Only use CR2450 but-
ton cell batteries!
Remote control
NOTICE! Operation of the motor! The
awning can only be extended twice in
series. In the event of overheating caused
by frequent use, the thermal protection
function may switch the motor of the awn-
ing off. In this case, you should wait
approximately 30 minutes until you oper-
ate the awning again. Otherwise there is a
risk of lasting damage, for which no war-
ranty is provided.
This thermal protection will ensure the
long life of the awning.
– Use the remote control in accordance with the
specifications detailed in the figure.
Hand crank
The hand crank is used only to retract or extend the
awning in the event of a power failure or when either
the switch or remote control is defective.

Setting the end position switch
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit! If
the end switches are not correctly set,
there is a risk that the motor will run hot.
This may lead to motor damages and,
potentially, cause a risk of fire.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!
Please do not use any electrically-pow-
ered screw fixing devices (e.g. a cordless
screwdriver) to set the motor using the
upper and lower setting screws; only turn
screws manually – even if this takes some
time. The adjustment is very sensitive.
Please only turn the screw a half-turn
each time and then check the correspond-
ing stop point. A full turn corresponds to
approximately 2.5 cm more/less travel. If
the setting screws are overtightened that
will cause a defect in the motor electron-
ics that we can detect and will result in
refusal of any warranty claims.
– Use the tool provided to make the adjustments.
► P. 8, fig. 16
The upper setting screw is used to set the end deac-
tivation when retracting the awning. Rotate the screw
in the (+) direction to extend the operating time, rotate
in the (-) direction to shorten the operating time.
Example:
If the motor continues to operate when the awning is
fully retracted, rotate the setting screw in the (-) direc-
tion.
► P. 8, fig. 17
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!
When the front cover hits the cap, the
maximum end position has been reached.
► P. 8, fig. 18
The lower setting screw is used to set the end deac-
tivation when extending the awning. Rotate the screw
in the (+) direction to extend the operating time, rotate
in the (-) direction to shorten the operating time.
Example:
If the motor stops operating when the awning not fully
extended, turn the setting screw in the (+) direction.
The correct setting is determined by extending and
retracting the awning multiple times.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!
The fabric must be tensioned and must
not sag.
Adjust the hinged arms
CAUTION! Potential risk of injury! The
adjustment of the hinged arm must be
performed by two people.
