DANGER! Immediate risk to life or risk
of injury! Three persons must be present
when installing the awning. Two ladders
are required.
The awning should be attached exactly
horizontal to guarantee a smooth exten-
sion and retraction of the awning.
Maintain a safe stance during the installa-
tion process.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!
Please adhere to the precise specifica-
tions with regard to dimensioning and use
all of the supplied wall brackets. Also
make sure the awning is hung perfectly
horizontal (e.g. by using a water level and
a chalk line or a laser device). In the case
of uneven walls in particular, make sure
that the brackets are also mounted com-
pletely straight, in a vertical direction (use
a spirit level). Suitable accessories for
making uneven walls level are available
from specialist retailers. Deviations when
aligning and hanging will result in the mal-
function of the awning.
Install the wall mounts for the awning
► P. 5, fig. 1
– Select your desired installation height prior to
installation (C).
► P. 5, fig. 2
– Observe the minimum outer distances of the awn-
ing.
► P. 5, fig. 3
– Note the dimensions of the wall bracket.
– Loosen and remove the fixing screws and mount-
ing plate on the wall brackets as shown.
– Loosen the setting screw with an Allen key and
unscrew sufficiently, to ensure that a gap of at
least 40 mm has been established.
► P. 5, fig. 4
– Mark the boreholes as shown and drill the holes.
The different dimensions must be taken into account
for ceiling and wall mounting. Values in brackets refer
to ceiling mounting.
► P. 5, fig. 5
– Mount the wall mounts using the installation mate-
rials.
Mounting the awning
► P. 6, fig. 6
– Insert the awning into the wall bracket.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!
The awning must be fitted in such a way
that the arm bracket is located above the
wall mounts.
► P. 6, fig. 7
– Fix the awning into the wall brackets as shown,
using the mounting plate and screws.
Adjusting the angle of tilt of the awning fabric
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!
The angle of inclination of the fabric must
be set to the same level on both sides.
If the front rail is not horizontal, the awning
cloth will be rolled unevenly which may
lead to damage.
► P. 6, fig. 8
– Awning is extended fully.
► P. 6, fig. 9
– Loosen the fixing screw on both sides.
► P. 7, fig. 10
– Turn the setting using the Allen key until the
required inclination has been set.
– Tighten the fixing screw (A) back up again.
– If required, adjust on one side until the awning is
horizontal.
Mounting the wind sensor
► P. 7, fig. 11
The wind sensor can be mounted in three different
ways, as shown.
– When selecting the mounting surface, make sure
that it is sufficiently exposed to the weather.
► P. 7, fig. 12
