Electric shock threatens. Pull out the mains plug! Only carry out cleaning, care
and maintenance work after the power supply has been disconnected!
Hot surfaces. Avoid contact with hot appliance parts! Allow parts to cool
down! Pull out the mains plug!
General cleaning and care
• Before you start cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
• Only use agents without corrosive ingredients to clean the surface.
• After cleaning, allow all parts to dry thoroughly before using the appliance again.
It is forbidden to spray the appliance with a jet of water or immerse it in water. Water
must not be allowed to enter the inside of the appliance via the ventilation openings
on the housing.
Do not use any sharp and/or metallic objects (e.g. wire brushes or metal spatulas),
as these can damage the surface of the appliance.
• Clean the inside of the appliance after each use.
• After each use, check that all screws are tight and that the mains cable is free from
damage.
• Check every 50 operating hours that the rotating parts are undamaged and can be
turned noiselessly by hand.
• Check every 200 operating hours whether the striking mechanism needs to be
replaced. Clean the motor and fan with compressed air.
