OPERATION
Switching ON/OFF
a) Press and hold the ON/OFF trigger to switch on the power tool.
b) Release the trigger to turn off the power tool.
c) To use the power tool continuously, press and hold the ON/OFF trigger and press the locking button. Release the trigger.
d) To release the locking button, briefly press the ON/OFF trigger again and realease.
Adjusting drilling speed
The speed of drilling can be controlled in two ways.
a) ON/OFF trigger: The more you press the ON/OFF trigger, the higher the speed of drilling. Light pressure on the trigger results in a low speed, while stronger
pressure increases the speed.
b) Speed control switch: Turn the switch to the "-" direction to reduce speed or to the "+" direction to increase speed.
Selecting the operating mode
Use the switch for drilling/hammer drilling to select the operating mode.
a) To drill into wood, metal, and plastics turn the switch to setting [
b) For impact drilling in stone or concrete, turn the switch to setting [
Forward/ Reverse drilling
a) Press the switch to drill from right to left.
b) Press the switch to loosen jammed drills from left to right.
Note when drilling:
a) Always keep the ventilation slots of the power tool clear and clean. Do not cover them during use.
b) When working on small pieces, clamp them securely in place with appropriate ways.
c) Mark drill holes in metal with a center punch to prevent the drill from slipping off.
d) Always make sure that the drilling tool turns fast enough, do not apply too much pressure on it.
MAINTENANCE
Switch off the power tool and disconnect it from the power supply before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning work to avoid the risk of
electric shock or accidental starting.
Proper and regular maintenance is not only important for the safe use of this power tool, but can also extend the life of the power tool.
a) It is recommended that you clean the device immediately each time you finish using it. Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth or blow it with compressed
air at low pressure (max. 3 bar).
b) Keep all ventilation openings and the tool handles as free of dirt and dust as possible.
c) Clean the equipment regularly with a damp cloth and some soft soap. Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents that could damage the plastic parts of the
equipment. Make sure that no water can leak into the device.
Repair and service
There are no parts of this power tool that can be serviced or repaired by the user. Never try to repair the power tool yourself. Always contact an authorised
service center.
If the power cable of the tool is worn or damaged, contact an authorised service center. Cables and plugs must only be replaced by authorised personnel to
avoid damage or harm (electric shock).
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
a) Before storing the tool for longer periods of time, clean it thoroughly as described and let it dry completely.
b) Store the power tool in the original packaging.
c) Always store the power tool out of the reach of children in a well-ventilated and dry place.
d) Always switch off the power tool before transporting it.
e) Always carry the power tool using the handles provided.
f) Protect the power tool from vibrations and impact, especially when transported in vehicles.
ENVIRONMENTAL DISPOSAL
In order to avoid damages on transportation, the tool has to be delivered in solid packaging. Packaging as well as the unit and accessories are made of
recyclable materials and can be disposed accordingly. The tool's plastics components are marked according to their material, which makes it possible to remove
environmental friendly and differentiated because of available collection facilities.

In observance of European Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its implementation in accordance with
national law, electric tools that have reached the end of their life must be collected separately and returned to an environmentally compatible
recycling facility.
