INTENDED USE
The intended use of this impact drill includes:
• Drilling in wood, plastic and metal.
• Impact drilling in stone, concrete or similar materials.
This power tool should not be used as a screwdriver.
The equipment must be used only for its intended purpose. Any other use is considered a case of misuse. The operator, not the manufacturer, is responsible
for any damage or injury of any kind caused as a result of misuse of the tool.
BEFORE OPERATION
Switch off the power tool and disconnect it from the power supply before attaching, adjusting, replacing or removing accessories to avoid the
risk of electric shock or accidental starting.
Installing the side handle
For safety reasons, the side handle must always be in place when working with this power tool.
a) Slide the side handle ring over the drill chuck on the neck. If necessary, turn the handle section counterclockwise to open the ring far enough.
b) Align the side handle down, to the right or to the left, depending on your personal preference.
c) Secure the side handle by rotating the handle section clockwise.
Installing bits
Note: Take care to choose the proper size and style of bit for the job.

a) Hold the rear part of the drill chuck in position and turn the front part until the tool holder is open enough to insert the desired bit.
b) Push the drill bit into the chuck as far as it will go.
c) Turn the front part of the chuck to secure the drill bit in the holder.
Follow the same procedure to remove drill bit or to install a new one.
Warning! Drill bits are very sharp and can be very hot after use! Handle them carefully to avoid injuries! If necessary, wear protective gloves
when removing or replacing tools.
Installing the depth stop
Attach the depth stop to drill to an exact depth.
a) Turn the handle part of the side handle anti-clockwise until the receiving opening is open enough to push the depth stop through.
b) Push the depth stop through the holder on the side handle.
c) Push the depth stop far enough that the front end of the stop is at the same height of the drill tip. For example, If you want to drill 2 cm deep, push the depth
stop back by 2 cm (see scale on the depth stop).
d) Tighten the handle part of the side handle.
