Shut-off
24. Press the "ON/OFF" button to switch the appliance off.
25. Caution: The appliance features automatic shut-off with a cool-down
function. If the appliance was operating in heating mode, it takes about
30 seconds until the appliance completely switches off. This time is shown
on the display and counts down backwards.
26. Then unplug the appliance from the wall socket. The red ON/OFF symbol
on the display goes out and the appliance is now completely switched off.
Caution: The appliance becomes very hot – danger of burns! Keep pets and
especially children away from the appliance!
TIP-OVER PROTECTION
1.
The fan heater automatically switches off due to an unsafe position from
tipping over or a similar motion. "P4" appears on the display and a signal
sounds repeatedly to indicate that the tip-over protection was activated.
2.
Put the appliance back into a safe position and use the ON/OFF button to
switch on the appliance to continue operation.
OVERHEATING PROTECTION
1.
The appliance features a double overheat protection function that switches
off the appliance in case of excessive heating above 70 °C.
2.
If the overheat protection is triggered, use the ON/OFF switch to switch the
appliance off, unplug it from the wall socket and allow the appliance to cool
for at least 30 minutes.
3.
Eliminate the cause of overheating, such as excessive dust in the appliance
or a covered air discharge grill, before operating the appliance again.
4.
If the appliance cannot be switched on afterwards or if the overheat
protection is triggered for no apparent reason, contact our customer service
department.
