Caution: make sure that you disconnect your deep fryer after use.
Note: When the food is placed in the deep fryer, the oil will cool down
naturally and the green light indicator (OK) will come on again.
b) Recommendations for use
Only use good quality vegetable oil for frying. Never use butter,
margarine or olive oil.
Never add water or damp food to the oil. Any food that is too damp
may cause the oil to boil and may cause it to overflow.
Do not overload the basket. Please respect the maximum safe
quantities (maximum 1kg). Note: For optimal performance, we
recommend that you place a maximum quantity of 500g of chips
in the basket.
Place similar-sized elements in the basket for them to cook evenly.
Shake off any excessing coating (such as breadcrumbs) before
cooking.
Shake off any ice crystals before cooking (frozen food).
Dry all food before frying it.
The deep fryer may reach high temperatures during use. Avoid
touching hot surfaces.
In the hot oil, only use metal utensils with insulated handles.

4/ CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a) Cleaning The Deep Fat Fryer
Never immerse the resistance/control panel block into water or any
other liquid.
Never use any abrasive cleaning products
This appliance must imperatively be kept clean as it is in direct
contact with food
Caution: never immerse the body of the appliance in water.
Always unplug your appliance before any cleaning operations.
Wait until the oil has completely cooled down before handling your
appliance. Whatever you do, never attempt to move the deep far fryer
while the oil is still hot.
The oil must be filtered after each use.
Remove the basket from the pan and empty out the oil from the pan.
To clean the fry basket:
Remove all food residue from the basket with absorbent paper and
place it in the dishwasher.
To clean the pan, lid and outside of the deep fat fryer:
These elements are not dishwasher-safe
1. Remove grease and excess oil from the walls of
the pan with absorbent paper.
2. Wash the pan with a damp cloth and soapy
water.
3. Dry the pan thoroughly before using it again.
4. Clean the outside of your deep fat fryer and the
lid with a slightly damp clean cloth. Do not use
any scouring sponges or metal scrapers in order
to avoid damaging the surface.
5. The lid can be removed to facilitate cleaning. To
do so, fully open the lid and pull upwards:

after cleaning.
b) Storage
1. Wind the power cord
