Before each use, press the bubble on the bottom of the device a few times. This will ensure that the chain is
covered with oil. This should only be done before use, no further pressing is necessary during work (see the
following illustration).
Turn the device on/off
Insert the battery into the rail provided. Then press the safety button (Figure 1, point 8) on the side;
only then can you operate the on/off switch (Figure 1, point 4). The device will now start. If you
release the on/off switch, the device will stop working. Caution: The cutting tool may continue to run
slightly.
36. Work instructions
1) Make sure that your free hand is at least 15 cm from the cutting area of the saw chain when the
machine is running and that your hand is not in contact with the blade edge.
2) Do not use this device to cut larger branches, as this may cause the bar to become deformed and
the chain to be damaged.
3) Do not use this device on rainy days.
4) We recommend that you disconnect the battery from the device after use and store both
properly.
5) If you feel that the cut is not clean or the device does not have enough power despite a full
battery, check whether the saw chain has become blunt.
