Before use
- Before starting work, familiarise yourself with the chainsaw and its functions and controls.
- Inspect the device for signs of wear or damage before use and after impact.
- Do not use any device if the switch is defective and can no longer be turned on or off.
- Check that all nuts, bolts and screws are tight to ensure the appliance operates safely.
- Never use a device with damaged or missing parts. Have them repaired or, if necessary, replaced by
a qualified technician or specialist workshop.
- When working with or on the device, always wear sturdy shoes, long trousers and appropriate
personal protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, non-slip work gloves, etc.).
Wearing personal protective equipment reduces the risk of injury.
- Do not wear jewelry or loose clothing that could get caught in the chainsaw. Keep long hair away
from the cutting mechanism.
- Remove any adjusting tools or wrenches before switching on the chainsaw. A tool or wrench left in
a moving part of the machine can cause injury.
- Make sure the chain is sufficiently lubricated. If the chainsaw is not lubricated enough, it will most
likely be damaged or may break.
When using
- Do not operate the device if there are people (especially children) or animals in the immediate
vicinity.
- Stop working if you notice that there are people (especially children) or pets nearby.
- Always keep hands and feet away from moving blades, especially when turning on the chainsaw.
- Avoid abnormal posture. Ensure a safe
Stand and maintain balance at all times. This will give you better control of the chainsaw in
unexpected situations and on particularly steep slopes.
- Do not operate the chainsaw in explosive atmospheres where flammable liquids, gases or dust are
present. The hedge trimmer can produce sparks that can ignite the dust or fumes.
- Be especially careful when walking backwards. There is a risk of tripping!
- Only walk at walking pace.
- Never leave the device unattended during work breaks and store it in a safe place.
- Keep all parts of your body away from the chainsaw. Do not attempt to remove cuttings or hold
material to be cut while the blade is running. Remove jammed
Only cut material when the device is switched off. A moment of inattention when using the chainsaw
can lead to serious injuries.
