- Carry the chainsaw by the handle when the blade is not moving. Always remove the battery when
transporting or storing the device. Careful handling of the device reduces the risk of injury from the
chainsaw.
- Hold the power tool only by the insulated gripping surfaces, as the chain saw may come into
contact with hidden power lines. The contact of the saw
with a live wire can make metal parts of the device live and lead to an electric shock.
- During the cutting process, make sure that there are no people (especially children) or animals in
the work area.
-Keep all parts of your body away from the saw chain when the saw is running. Before starting the
saw, make sure that the saw chain is not touching anything. When working with a chainsaw, a
moment of inattention can result in clothing or parts of your body being caught in the saw chain.
- Wear safety glasses and hearing protection. Additional protective equipment for the head, hands,
legs and feet is recommended. Suitable protective clothing reduces the risk of injury from flying chips
and accidental contact with the saw chain.
- Do not operate the chainsaw in a tree. Operating it in a tree can cause injury.
- Only use the device in dry weather conditions. Keep it away from rain or moisture.
- Always ensure you have a firm footing and only use the chainsaw when you are standing on firm,
safe and level ground. Slippery surfaces or unstable surfaces such as a ladder can lead to loss of
balance or loss of control of the saw.
- Make sure that the chainsaw does not come into contact with the ground or other objects during
operation.
-When cutting a branch under tension, expect it to spring back. If the tension in the wood fibers is
released, the tensioned branch can strike the operator and/or throw the chain saw out of control.
- Be especially careful when cutting undergrowth and young
trees. The thin material can get caught in the saw chain and hit you or throw you off balance.
- Wait until the power tool has come to a stop before putting it down.
- Never leave the device unattended during work breaks and store it in a safe place.
- Always switch off the chainsaw when transporting it to another work site.
- Never hold the chainsaw by the cutting blade.
