NOTICE
Notice to the user and/or patient: any serious incident which has occurred in connection with the device
must be reported to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the Member State in which the
user and/or patient is established.
INDICATIONS
The wheelchair is used as a mobility tool for the handicapped, patients and the elderly who have di cul-
ties inelderly people who have di culties in action.
Beginners should be accompanied by assistants to avoid accidents due to improper handling.
This wheelchair is designed for frequent or occasional use by a single occupant weighing up to 110 kg
and can be used indoors and outdoors. The wheelchair can be manually moved forward and backward.
All Mobiclinic wheelchairs are manufactured and CE compliant.
FOLDING AND UNFOLDING THE WHEELCHAIR: To fold the wheelchair, just lift the center edge of the
seat upholstery from the bottom. To unfold, tilt the wheelchair slightly to one side to lift the wheels o
the oor. Then press down on one or both seat rails. Before folding the chair, completely remove the foo-
trests or make sure they are xed and in an upright position.
LOCKING THE WHEELS: Push the wheel locks forward until they engage in the locked position. Do not
attempt to sit down or stand up without having activated the brakes. Always apply both brakes simulta-
neously.
ADJUSTING THE LENGTH OF THE FOOTREST: The position of the footrest (standard- at or elevated) can
be adjusted to suit the length of the user's legs. The footrest should be adjusted to support the weight of
the user's feet and lower legs in a position to support the weight of the thighs. If the footrest adjustment
is too long, the thighs will be pressed under the front of the seat upholstery. If the footrest adjustment
is too short, the user's knees will rise and the buttocks will have to support excessive weight. Both situa-
tions lead to an increased risk of pressure ulcers. The user's knees and hips should be at approximately
the same level. The lower edge of the footrest should be at least 7 cm above the oor to allow su cient
clearance when going over ramps or slopes. To do this, loosen the adjustment screw with a wrench and
fold the foot plates inward or outward to achieve the desired position. Then tighten the screw carefully.
