8.3 Tools menu
Depending on whether you have selected Auto or Manual mode, the contents of the Tool menu will
diff er.
Select the Tool tab on the screen [L2] in order to gain access to the following Menu:
8.3.1 Confi guration
• Languages: EN: English; FR: French; DE: German; ES: Spanish; IT: Italian.
• Up/Down key: Programming the functions that can be activated from the head of the video camera.
The following can be selected: AWB/periph, AWB/Mirror, Brightness, Window, Details, Gamma,
AWB/no action.
For the Brightness, Window, Details, and Gamma parameters, the up and down buttons make it possible
to increase or decrease this parameter respectively.
• Blue shift : Shift in the white colorimetry towards the blue end of the spectrum.
• Red shift : Shift in the white colorimetry towards the red end of the spectrum.
8.3.2 Video

The modifi ed values are retained when the video camera is switched off .
8.3.3 Zero Reset Parameters
The video parameters for the specialities can be modifi ed and are automatically saved.
In the event of a problem, this function initialises the video parameters using their default values.

This parameter varies the general brightness of the image
Shutter window analysis:
surface of the image on which the camera analyses the quantity of light received, in
order to adjust the speed of the shutter to obtain a right exposure time.
This function makes it possible to obtain a good exposure even when the image has
zones with very di erent illumination (eg a dark orifi ce, and its very illuminated edges
will require a small window).
Accentuating the level of detail of the image giving a sensation of relief.
The ANTIMOIRE position settings have been optimized to apply an «anti-
moire» fi lter when using a fi broscope
Modifi es the dynamics of the dark areas:
+1 reduces the di erence between the light portions and the dark portions, therefore
making these dark areas appear less so.
-1 does the opposite: the dark portions are made even darker.
