2.1 Adaptations
1. Plug the AVL DiTEST OBD 1000 into the OBD-socket of the vehicle (4).
The operational readiness is signaled by short peeping and short yellow flashing of the
green/red/yellow LED (1).
3. Establish a Bluetooth connection with the PC.
See description of diagnostic program.
(Alternatively, you may also use a USB-cable (5) to connect the AVL DiTEST OBD 1000 to
the PC.)
If there is a connection to the PC, this is indicated by green flashing of the LED
green/red/yellow (1).

2.2 Update of Firmware
See description of the diagnostic program. Please note that the firmware update is not possible via
Bluetooth but can only be performed by using a USB-cable.
