g) Slight changes in the direction to the chimney are
possible, which provides greater flexibility in the choice of
where to install the fireplace.
e) Due to the existence of curved elbows,
angles which obstruct the flue are eliminated.
2.2.4. Some Rules.
Below are some other rules which must be followed in the
construction of the chimney:
a) Use fireproof and resistant materials. Do not use
fibrocement pipes.
b) Choose a path as vertical and straight as possible. Do
not connect various appliances to the same chimney.

d) Avoid pipes flowing into areas close to
constructions. They should be higher than the
nearest peak, if there is an adjacent building.

e) Choose a place that is least exposed to cooling
for the pipe. Whenever possible, choose an interior
chimney.
f) The internal walls should be perfectly smooth
and free of obstacles. Avoid cut offs in the connections
between pipes and masonry chimneys.
