Transport
For transportation only use the original packaging.
Avoid any excessive application of force, like vibration or dropping.
Installation
Before you start the device up acclimate it.
Do not place the device in front of direct heating, stove or any heat sources.
Avoid direct sunlight exposure to the device.
Place the device only in dry environments and prevent it for humidity.
Operation
Do not blockade the air supply.
Use the device only within the permitted nominal voltage range.
Do not install any third party software on the system.
Maintenance:
Turn the device off and remove the power plug.
Contact ABUS Security-Center in case of upgrading the hardware.
Use only ABUS Security-Center certified hardware for upgrading.
Do not try to repair the device by yourself. Only qualified personnel should perform this.
Attention: The administration and operation of video and audio surveillance systems applies to strict
regulations. Take care of any country specific laws before you install the system and advise your
customer to the local licensing requirements and orders.
