Do not overload the product capacity by attempting to
clear snow at too fast a rate.
Never operate the product at high transport speeds
on slippery surfaces. Look behind and use care when
operating the product in reverse.
Disengage power to the collector or impeller when the
product is transported or not in use.
Use only original manufacturer's replacement parts,
accessories, and attachments.
Never operate the product without good visibility or light.
Always be sure of your footing, and keep a firm hold on
the handles. Walk; never run.
Never place the product on any surface, except on
a hard and clean surface, when the motor is running.
Gravel, sand, and other debris can be picked up by
the air inlet and thrown at the operator or bystanders,
causing possible serious injuries.
Never operate the product near glass enclosures,
automobiles, windows, or doorways without proper
adjustment of the snow discharge angle.
If the product is dropped, suffers heavy impact, or begins
to vibrate abnormally, immediately turn off the product
and inspect for damage or identify the cause of the
vibration. Any damage should be properly repaired or
replaced by an authorised service centre.
The product can be operated and stored at temperatures
between -20 °C and 20 °C, as long as the battery pack
temperature is kept above 0 °C. Do not store the battery
pack below 0 °C. Below freezing temperatures can
reduce the performance and capacity of the battery
pack. If the battery pack is stored just above 0 °C, run
the product for at least 2 minutes in order to warm up the
battery pack before starting normal work. After the job is
done or the battery pack is drained, remove the battery
pack from the product and store it in a location where the
ambient temperature is between 0 °C and 20 °C.
Some parts of the product can freeze under extreme
weather conditions. Do not operate the product with
frozen parts.
Before storing, allow the product to run for several
minutes after operation to remove snow from the auger.
ADDITIONAL BATTERY SAFETY WARNINGS
To reduce the risk of fire, personal injury, and product
damage due to a short circuit, never immerse the
product, battery pack, or charger in fluid or allow fluid
to flow inside them. Corrosive or conductive fluids, such
as seawater, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach
or bleach-containing products, etc., can cause a short
circuit.
Charge the battery pack in a location where the ambient
temperature is between 10 °C and 38 °C.
Do not store the battery pack below 0 °C. Below freezing
temperatures can reduce the performance and capacity
of the battery pack.
OPERATION TIPS
The product does not operate if the upper handle is not
properly fitted and if the handle lock clip is not securely
clipped. There are 2 safety interlocks to help prevent
accidental starting when the product is not correctly
assembled.
Take note of the direction of the wind before operating
the product. Discharge snow in the same direction as
the wind to prevent snow from being thrown back to the
operator.
CLEARING A BLOCKAGE
Never put hands or feet into the front of the product or the
discharge chute to avoid serious injuries. Do not use hands
to clean the discharge chute.
1. Turn off the product, and remove the battery pack. Make
sure that all moving parts have come to a complete stop.
2. Remove the blockage using a wooden pole. Beware, the
auger may move by itself during blockage removal due
to stored energy in the mechanism.
3. Turn the auger assembly using the wooden pole.
4. Once the auger can be turned by the wooden pole,
move to the rear of the product. It is normal for the auger
mechanism to have stepped movement. Make sure that
it is safe to continue snow clearing.
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
Turn off the product, remove the battery pack, and allow
the product to cool down before storing or transporting.
Always refer to the operator's manual for important
details if the product is to be stored for an extended
period.
Remove all foreign materials from the product. Store the
product in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area that is
inaccessible to children. Keep the product away from
corrosive agents, such as garden chemicals and de-
icing salts. Do not store the product outdoors.
For transportation, secure the product against movement
or falling to prevent injury to persons or damage to the
product.
TRANSPORTING LITHIUM BATTERIES
Transport the battery in accordance with local and national
provisions and regulations.
Follow all special requirements on packaging and labelling
when transporting batteries by a third party. Ensure that
no batteries can come in contact with other batteries
or conductive materials while in transport by protecting
exposed connectors with insulating, non-conductive caps or
tape. Do not transport batteries that are cracked or leaking.
Check with the forwarding company for further advice.
MAINTENANCE
Use only original manufacturer's replacement parts,
accessories, and attachments. Failure to do so can cause
possible injury, can contribute to poor performance, and
may void your warranty.
Inspect the product frequently for worn or damaged
shear pins, or if the auger is no longer turning. Determine
which of the five shear pins is damaged. Shear pins
are located on the auger shaft and below the impeller.
The pins should be replaced when worn or damaged.
Damaged shear pins may prevent the auger from turning
while the motor is running.
The scraper may need to be adjusted or replaced when
a layer of snow remains on the ground after making a
pass. Move the skid shoes up or down to your preferred
position. The scraper is attached to the skid shoes and
will move when the shoes are moved. Position the skid
shoes equally to ensure that the scraper is level with the
ground.
Servicing requires extreme care and knowledge
and should be performed only by a qualified service
technician. Have the product serviced by an authorised
service centre only.
Turn off the product, and remove the battery pack. Make
sure that all moving parts have come to a complete stop
before any cleaning or maintenance task.
