IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
This freezer must be used on the electric voltage shown on the rating label which is positioned on the
wall behind the bottom basket; failure to use the correct voltage will render the guarantee VOID and
may cause damage to the product.
This freezer is intended for domestic use only, any other use may invalidate the warranty and might
be dangerous.
This freezer is intended for i ndoor use only, do not use outdoors.
To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Remove food before cleaning the freezer.
If the mains lead becomes damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified person with a lead of the same type and rating to avoid a hazard.
Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the freezer malfunctions or has
been damaged in any way. Consult the retail store where you bought the freezer or advice.
Do not let cord hang over edge of the surface, or touch hot surfaces.
Do not place the freezer on or near hot surfaces, or in direct sunlight.
Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance.
Always attach a plug to the freezer, then plug it into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn the switch
OFF, then remove the plug from wall outlet.
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of a tripp ing hazard.
The mains plug is the main disconnecting device and shall be accessible at all times.
If you are discarding an old freezer or refrigerator with a lock/catch fitted to the door, ensure that it is
left in a disabled condition to avoid the entra pment of young children when playing.
As old refrigeration equipment may contain CFC's which will damage the ozone layer, when disposing
of any refrigeration equipment please contact your local waste disposal department for advice on the
correct method of disposal.
This freezer is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the freezer by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play on the freezer.
Refrigerant
The refrigerating gas contained in the circuit of this appliance is Isobutane (R600a); it causes a low
level of pollution but is inflammable.

When transporting and installing the freezer, be careful not to damage any part of the refrigerant
circuit.

Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure clear of obstruction.

Do not use any sharp or pointed objects when defrosting the freezer.

Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than
those recommended by the manufacturer.

Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the freezer, unless they
are of the type recommended by the manufacturer.
