cords. If any of these are found, do not use the electric
tool and contact the manufacturer immediately.
6) Keep hands away from the cutting area and blade
at all times. Keep the hand that is not being used
on the secondary handle. Your hands cannot be cut by
the blade if they are both holding the cutter.
7) Do not place your hand under the piece that is being
cut.
8) Hold the tool by the insulated surfaces when
carrying out operations in which the cutter could
come into contact with hidden wires or its own
power cord. Contact with a live wire could cause the
current to be transmitted through the metal parts of
the machine and cause a strong electrical shock to the
operator.
9) Always use blades with interior diameters that
correspond to the machine's shaft. A larger interior
diameter would cause the cutter to rotate eccentrically,
leading to a loss of control.
10) Never use plates or anchor screws from damaged
or incorrect blades. These parts were designed
specifically for this cutter, to provide better functioning
and safety during operation.
11) Hold the cutter firmly and position your body and
arms in such a way that you can resist the forces of
KICKBACK. KICKBACK forces can be controlled by the
operator if the proper precautions are taken.
12) Do not use damaged or dull blades.
13) Use only the recommended blades, suitable for RPMs
that are greater than or equal to the maximum RPM of
the machine and with holes for the proper shaft.
14) Position the blade plates correctly and tighten the
screw properly before starting up the machine.
15) Check the interior surfaces of the blade anchor plates,
as well as the sides of the blade, in order to avoid any
problems.
16) Verify that the blade has no cracks or other damage
before operation. Immediately replace damaged blades.
Do a functional test with no load for at least 30 seconds
before using the cutter.
17) Never start the machine with the piece being cut in
contact with the blade.
18) Allow the motor to reach its maximum speed before
cutting.
19) Important: after completing the cut, release the switch
and wait for the blade to stop completely before setting
the cutter down.
20) Do not use the machine in areas with flammable
solids, liquids or gases. The sparks produced in the
brushes could cause a fire or explosion.
21) This machine was designed for specific applications.
The manufacturer certifiably recommends that it not be
modified and/or used for applications other than the
ones for which it was designed. If you have any questions
regarding the use of the machine, do not use it until you
have consulted the manufacturer and received the
corresponding information.
22) Only use the machine for cutting ceramic,
stoneware, porcelain and natural stone.
23) Use the secondary handles provided with the tool.
Loss of control can result in injury.
24) Use the residual current device (PRCD). The PRCD
unit disconnects electrical power supply to the tool
automatically when a leak is detected in the device,
or when there is a risk that the user could receive an
electrical discharge.
25) Keep the power cord away from the machine's
cutting zone. Always keep the power cord away from
the machine behind you.
26) Turn off the machine immediately if you notice any
unusual vibration or any other malfunction. Check the
12.
machine to determine the cause.
27) Use only the diamond blades recommended by the
manufacturer.
28) Pay attention to the dimension of the blades. The
centre hole in the blade must fit on the shaft with no free
play. If not, a reducer washer (provided with the blade)
will be needed to ensure proper fit.
29) Try to avoid electrical lines, gas and water pipes.
Inspect your work area, for example with a metal
detector, before starting work.
30) The dust that is produced when working with this
tool may be harmful to your health. Use an absorption
system and wear a suitable dust mask. When the cutting
operation has been completed, clean any deposited dust
with a vacuum cleaner.

3.- OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 Assembly instructions
After unpacking the machine, carefully check for
damaged or broken parts. If you find any damaged or
malfunctioning parts, replace them with original spare
parts from the manufacturer and contact RUBI's after-
sales service.
Installing and replacing the blade:
1.
The blade is installed at the factory. To install the blade,
set the machine to the maximum height using the depth
adjustment lever. (Fig. A-10)
2.
Move the side guard out of the way. (Fig. A-8)
3.
Move the black guard up until the blade area is clear. If
necessary, also remove the cover of the suction intake.
(Fig. A-7)
4.
Remove the screw (clockwise) and remove the outer
blade plate (spanners included). (Fig. B)
5. The interior blade plate must be installed on the
machine's shaft, as shown in the image. Put the interior
blade plate in position, orienting it according to the
direction of rotation indicated on the machine. (Fig. B-4)
6. Install the exterior plate as shown in the image and
tighten the screw firmly by turning counter-clockwise
(spanners included).
7.
Install the blade guard, the side guard and the suction
intake cover in their original positions. (Fig. C)
Connection of the water feed system:
8.
The feed system is installed at the factory. The valve is
oriented at a 45º angle for greater comfort.
9. Make sure that all of the parts of the assembly are
properly secured and the water regulation valve is in the
perpendicular position. (Fig. D-12)
10. Make sure that the suction intake cover is properly
installed on the machine. (Fig. C-15)
11. Connect the hose to the machine's intake with the
